The human mind can be understood as being composed of many individual units, just as our bodies are made of billions of individual cells. Traits, memories, awareness, emotions, sensory perceptions, thoughts, beliefs, skills, habits, values, and many others would exist within a non-physical society—organized in a hierarchy—that delivers consciousness and gives meaning to the external world.

The existence of feedback from the main consciousness to its parts, as well as feedforward from the parts to the whole, articulates Uncannik’s narrative. The stream of consciousness, populated by millions of voices, deploys an indeterministic, collective, non-local mind capable of gradually revealing its completely unsuspected nature.

Consciousness is brought to life by the participation of all its parts. Our theater deploys a constant interference from the parts of that mind.

Uncanniks is a reflection of a time—the one we live in—but it mirrors more than just one space. There are places for the subject and the contemporary tale, but there are also places where the intersection between narrative and survival presents an opportunity to think and feel what we are. The stories Uncanniks unravels are a reexamination of human identity and its perceptions, of the scope of individual and collective consciousness, and of the possibility of a form of existence that was always latent, waiting to be unveiled.

I’ve always been fascinated by the interplay of science and the human spirit—how neurobiology, physics, and technology can amplify our capacity to explore the self. Uncanniks is my way of merging these worlds, creating a pressure cooker for transformation that’s both deeply personal and universally resonant. It’s about shattering the fear of the unknown, demystifying altered states, and empowering our audience to embrace the struggle and beauty of their own minds.
